On their Own & OK 4-H Day Camp
4-H program opportunity coming to the Mount Vernon and Lisbon areas. Linn County Extension and Outreach- 4-H and the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Child Care Solutions Group are partnering up to bring the On Their Own and OK program to families as they prepare for summer. On Their Own and OK build skills in youth to prepare to stay home alone safely. We will be holding a one-day youth day camp at the Lester Buresh Family Community Wellness Center in Mount Vernon on 5/13 for 4-6th grade youth.
In addition, a caregiver pre-meeting will be held in the evening on 5/10 to provide resources and support to caregivers that are considering preparing their child to stay at home alone when school is out. Caregivers do not have to have a child signed up for the 5/13 day camp to attend the pre-meeting event.
